This is what’s wrong with retail!

HMV recently went bankrupt, which is a good indication that whatever they were doing, wasn’t working.

Sunrise Records takes over their locations and changes nothing but the sign on the front of the store. Same location, same look, same products and same mediocre customer experience.

Should we be surprised if Sunrise suffers the same outcome as HMV?

You will always face changing markets and customer demands.  Your success depends on how you react and change to adapt to those demands. Nothing less than an “Exceptional” customer experience is acceptable today in “bricks & mortar” retail.  Without it, your business is at risk.
